• Johann Michael Lindenmuth (the name is also found as Lindemuth, Lindermuth and other variations in early records, came to the U.S. with his parents, younger brother, Johann Wolf, and maternal grandfather, Johann Wolf, aboard the ship Brothers, landing at Philadelphia on Sept. 21, 1752.
  He served in the French and Indian War and was a colonel of the Berks County PA militia during the Revolutionary War. He was married twice and fathered 21 children.
