An avid fiction reader. I love mysteries and contemporay fiction. I enjoy books set in the Pacific Northwest (Portland and Seattle) such as JA Jance's JP Beaumont series, Alafair Burke's first 3 books and many of Debbie Macomber's books. I always have a book with me and usually an extra one in the car because you never know when you might get a chance to read. I also read cookbooks for fun. I love to curl up with a cup of tea and read. When I was working (am now retired) I loved to exchange reading suggestions with my patients and found commenting on a book they were reading as a great ice breaker. I tend to find a author I like and then set about reading everything they have written. I love used book stores, Ebay and Amazon's used books. I belong to one book club through my church but would love to discuss books I have read with anyone. « less
