Hi Lauramacx, thank you for your reply. I'm currently reading Twice Bitten, which is the third book in the Chicagoland Vampire series and you are right, it's refreshing to have a series thats different to what other books tend to offer. I really liked the rapport between Merit and her BFF Mallory and hope the two make up in this book. They really make me laugh at times.I'll certainly look up Katie MaCalister's Silver Dragon series as well as her Aisling Grey series as I like to read lighthearted and humourous books too. Thanks for recommending them. I love Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy books too. I've had Last Sacrifice since Christmas but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I hear it ended ok from my fellow Shelfarians. I'm looking forward to her Bloodlines novel too. I'm also a fan of the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine and Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books. Have you read them?Let me know how you fare with the Silver Dragon series and what you plan to read next. I hope to finish Twice Bitten in the next two days and then go on to read Karen Chance's Dorina Basarab series. Have you heard of them?It's been great chatting to you.
