Additionally, I'm an avid reader of African-American authors and I've met a few of my favorite authors (Carl Weber, Eric Jerome Dickey, Zane, Kimberla Lawson Roby). BUT my all time favorite author is Maya Angelou, poet laureate and autobiographer - love, love, love "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings!" - a true classic.
