Hi,
I just finished the book, Stonewall. It was good. I commented on it. Here is what I said about the book:
This book at first was not very interesting at first, but as I read more of the book I started to enjoy it. The first half of the book was about his personal life. "Stonewall" Jackson was a faithful follower of the Lord. Everyone in the world should be more like him. The second half of the book was about the Civil War. Wars are horrible. They seperate families and friends. It brings "hate."
If you are a strong believer in the North cause of the Civil War and don't like the South for receding from the Union consider what the South had to go through. It wasn't just the slave issue; it was also state's rights. "Stonewall" didn't want people to come and destroy the Southern land, harass the women and children, burn down homes, and take horses and food from the Southerners. Some people fought for the Norht or the South because it was their homeland. I for one will do anything for my beloved homeland.

I am reading Stonewall Jackson, Miss Jane Austen, and Gettysburg. I am trying to finish up with these books because I have a whole other stack of books to read.

Fever is one of my favorite books! There were some sad parts of course because it was yellow fever so...she gets yellow fever and thankfully doesn't die. Her mom almost dies and her grandpa died, except not from the fever. It is a good book. You should read it sometime.
