I can’t seem to get enough of vampire books at the moment which started from the moment I completed the Twilight series. I love The Morganville Vampire books by Rachel Caine, Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse books, Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series, Lili St Crow’s Strange Angels series, Rachel Vincent’s... more »

    hi Niss,

Hows it goin. Hope all is finished with the kitchen I know its awful getting stuff renovated isnt a pain in the behind!! At least when its done it will be worth it.

Ohhh the kindle, the kindle love love love it.... getting the picture. Bought a cover for it on ebay for £7.99. Amazon wanted £30 for it... and just bought a little led light for it on ebay now. I'll be all a do da.... ha..lol Its like my new baby ha. I have four books read on it already. I downloaded book one of the Fever series on it. It was'nt too expensive about 6 or 7 dollors. I have to buy mine from the states so must get up on the euro dollor conversion.

I finished a fab book last night Blue Bells of Scotland trilogy a time slip loved it but ended on a cliff hanger and I am all over the net this morning and cant find book 2. Dont think its out yet all different dates for release on the net weird or what.

I might start the fever book today I'll have a look at it anyway. Na Stookie didnt do it for me. I do like vampires but maybe the more mature ones ha!! I loved Mathew in Discovery of witches and Cian in the Nora Roberts trilogy and I loved loved loved The Vampire Lestat from interview with a vampire. I loved all Anne Rices vampires really. I think its the modern ones I'm having a problem with ha and I had a big problem with Edward Cullen think it was just too young for me. Thanks for thinking I look too young for a 17 yr old by the way.

Discovery of Witches has everything a witch a vampire a demon humans all living side by side so modern enough and a love story and a cliff hanger ending ha.... I'd go for it if I was you. Bet you will love Mathew hes 37 so better than Edward Cullen at 17 ha..

Yea off to Spain again. Aoife will be 18 in August and she says this is her last holiday with us never again.. Daniel was 14 in January so we have him for another few years. Aoife is bring her friend Kathryn we had her in Italy with us too so thats ok. Of course Dan is giving out he has no friend. Hopefully the cousins will come again at the same time. Aoife will be finished school in June 2013 after the leaving Certificate thats what we call it here. Its A levels to you. She hopes to do teaching in universirty but with the amount of work she is doing NOT..... she better start praying too ha... Great you son is in law. Its nice to see them doing well isnt it? Thats all a parent can hope for.

I see ye have awful weather in the UK. We have escaped it thank god. I just couldnt cope with snow. Ireland dosnt do snow very well and the whole country comes to a standstill.... not nice.

As for the garden and pots etc wont even go there. My spring bulbs are coming up in some pots eventhought they are full of weeds etc. Marigolds dont do well where I live the slugs keep eating them so I'm no help to you on that score.

Hope your builders are gone and you are happy with the work.

take care stay warm and talk soon

    Hi Niss,

Hows it goin .... great to hear from you. No prob re your reply I know you will reply sometime so great to hear from you.

My first real news is I got a Kindle.... was thinking about it for a while and Sean surprised me with it during the week, well he actually got an ebook I never heard of so returned it got the money back and got the Kindle so all very excited today setting it up etc.

What made up my mind was you know how I was reading Nora Roberts trilogy well the wait for the 2nd book was awful and the 3rd book shipped on 12th Dec and still didnt get here..... I'm mental waiting for it so got a refund from play.com and ordered it (the day Sean bought the ebook) from amazon so still waiting where as with the kindle when you finished book 2 you download book 3 straight away and off you go ha!!! So if you get a change you should read the Nora Robert books as they are great. When you talk about the blue bloods it all comes back and maybe I will give misguided angel a chance...

Tried the stookie stackhouse but they kinda did'nt do it either. You must get Discovery of Witches cant remember if I told you about it but I loved it fab fab fab...

I am def going to check out the Fever Series as you hav'nt put me wrong before. It will be so easy to spend money now I'll be broke!!

At the moment doing something I never do reading about 3 books at the same time. Started Wolf Hall (Tudor book) by Hilary Mantel in about 400 pages I want to finish it but its not doing it for me. Reading Bess of Hardwick (Elizabethan times) its a biography I thought it was a novel as I dont usually go for bios so reading it enjoying it but reading a bit of chic lit to keep it light inbetween. And as soon as book 3 arrives I will be diving in....

Thats about it We have been blessed with the weather very mild up at bout 12dgs every day and not a touch of frost in the mornings its been great don't know ourselves. All my spring bulbs are coming up. I have my summer hols booked. Booked Spain same place as last year would prefer to go to Italy but aoife will be 18 in August and she said this will be her last hol with us so she wants to go back to the same place in Spain from last year. Maybe next year for Italy althought the way things are going over here it could be my last holiday too ha!! RECESSION killing everything!!

Thats about it. Lovely to hear from you take care and talk again soon

Hi Nis - Yes it has been forever since we were last in touch. A lot has happened since; I'm sure for you too, as a lot can happen in a span of that time. Sorry if it seemed like I dropped off the planet. I practically did. I guess I just sort of crawled in a cave for that time period, lost touch with a lot of people. I felt like I just needed a break from everything and everyone, I suppose.

Not sure that I'm completely done with all that, but I'm coming around a little bit to getting back out.

Thank you for wishing me a Happy New Year, I wish the same for you.

I'm keeping this short, but I do want to mention that I recently picked up and read The Strangers on Montagu Street. Very much enjoyed it, as I did the other books in that series. The description had me thinking it would be creepy - with the dollhouse, but I actually laughed through quite a bit of it. Have you had a chance to get your hands on it yet?

Hi, Nisareen! How are you? How was your new year been so far? I wish you a wonderful new year. How many books did you read last year? Thanks for putting all of our group totals together. That was really sweet :) We were chatting about Unearthly and it went on sale in ebook form. I bought it but haven't had the chance to read it. As soon as I do I'll message it.

I am almost sorry I looked at your shelf. There are so many authors of so many supernatural books I have never even heard of. It's going to take me forever to read them all! It's a good problem to have. :)

I'm doing fine, Nisa. Hope you are too! :) I haven't been on as much lately. I also haven't been reading as much as usual. I am writing some and between that and my other daytime activities and my kids I don't seem to have a lot of free time. I hope you have a Merry Christmas! :)
