Oh boy. You know, tolerance is a wonderful thing. My family consists of Jews, Catholics, and, yes, Scientologists. We all respect each others beliefs and get along great.

Yeah, I heard that. I agree with you that he doesn't fit the physical description, though I was trying to figure out which actor does. Can't really think of one! Except maybe Dolph Lundgren ;) I know the author supports Cruise in the role. I think it'll be worth seeing. I'm happy they're making a Reacher movie. It's about time!

How come you boycott Tom Cruise movies?

Talk about coinicidence...the very person that I think doesn't like me at all is the same person you had a misunderstanding with. Whenever I read one of her posts, I always made sure I answered back right away. Sometimes it would be in a joking manner, other times serious it just depended on the subject. Since I joined Shelfari Lee, Bella has never
sent me a direct post like she does with others and it bothered me. Did I say something out-of-turn? I really don't know and have wasted energy worrying about it. I have
no doubt your apology was sincere. Life is way too short to dither about things like that. Yes, I know exactly what you mean and God Bless you for that...

Lee, what a sweet messaged you just posted me and I really appreciate that you took the time, despite the painful weekend, to post back. I find it hard to process that your good friend just lost his brother, that is terrible. My prayers to you, your friend and his family.

You mentioned in your previous post about us being opposites and you are right Lee...lol. We are opposites but although we have never met or chatted I liked you right away and sensed that you are a very caring person and what you just posted about your weekend proved me right. Besides Lee, don't forget....opposites attract....just joshin....
    God Bless...

Lee, I have been thinking of you all weekend and hope that your good friend, family and you were able to get through the shock of someone passing away so young. Once again you are there beside a friend and just that alone is a big help. All anyone can say is that she was too young and it certainly puts in prospective what is important in our lives and how precious everyday is. God Bless you for being there and prayers to your friend and family.

Lee, you won't be sorry if you read Insomnia over again. Now I kind of remember, but not really, which is good because after only
a couple of page I am re-hooked AGAIN. Plus, small print, details and a very thick book. This is the first fiction book I have read in
    ages....lol. Enjoy....:)

Lee...even in my teens I had trouble sleeping. To this day I have trouble so I take sleeping pills and if I don't, it is 'owl time'. I don't know why I'm like that but seem to come alive later in the day. Throw-back to a vampire...lol. This is one of his treasure books I am sure so will read it. I will let you know what I think. Thanks for the post...take care.....

Hi Lee.....I have been wanting to ask you if you read Stephen Kings....."Insomnia" . It is a thick book but if it is in his earlier style
of wriiting (i.e. Cujo or Firestarter) then I will read it. Running out of TC and have to wait till I order on Amazon for the spring.
Wanted your thoughts on this genre.

    Lee,

I hope you enjoy The Chronicles of the Host. I loved it; but just felt it was a bit long. Four books would have done me. But still a great series and insight into how satan and his cohorts seek to destroy us in order to get revenge on God.

I notice you also have The Madman. This was well constructed and a great background to the possessed Gadarene but I found her writing style very difficult to read. She definitely does her homework though. I pray you enjoy this too.

    Lee,

First book is The Twelfth Imam:

Second book is The Tehran Initiative:

I love the recent BBC version of Sherlock Holmes. There is only 3 episodes of Season 2 being screened here on TV. Not sure if there is more. I would not mind this on DVD. I like how it is set in modern times and not in the original era. Good twist but not losing the essence of the story or characters.

Lee, Yes, I have this book but am waiting for the final book in the trilogy before I read them all. Love having the whole trilogy together so you can read them one after the other. How have you been? I gather you will be seeing the new Sherlock Holmes movie? I have not seen the first one, but love the TV series, the latest version.
