I'm reading travel books by Rick Steves. My daughter and I are going to Italy June 9th. We are SO excited!!! it's our first time in Europe. We'll be taking the train through the south of France spending two nights there and then on to Italy. We'll camp some nights, stay in B and Bs, and also take a ferry to Croatia for two nights. We've been having fun planning. I'll take a good book on the plane, what do you recommend?

Judy, please let me know how the Mennonite book is. I think I'm interested. Also, I just started, The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe, an eloquent book about witches that live among us and their supernatural puzzler. A Harvard graduate finds a key among her deceased aunt's belongings. That key leads her to the Salem witch trials.

I read the book Escape and it was shocking. This FLDS group is larger than I thought and seem to exist without legal recourse from our government. Happy to hear this woman's account of freeing herself and her children.
