Through some diabolical glitch at Shelfari I ended up with TWO accounts and could only sign in to the newly created one. So I've had to transfer all of my books and, more or less, start from scratch. In the process I've also lost all of my "friends" and "followers". I've tried to get Shelfari to correct the situation to no avail. They keep referring me to Amazon and the Amazon "help" people claim never to have heard of Shelfari. Hope you'll continue to "follow" me at my new location. Grüße aus Chicago. Gunter
Hi there, I noticed you had my book, The Raven & the Wolf: Blood Oath, on your wish list. The sequel to that book is now out. Its called The Raven & the Wolf: Land of Ire. Prepare for more Viking Age bloodshed! :)Chris
Hallo! I thought you'd be interested to know that "STRETCH: Coming of Age in Post-War Germany", the sequel to "Weeds Like Us" has just been published! You can find details on my website:www.weedslikeus.com as well as on amazon.de and bn.com. Happy reading! (Oh, by the way, barring the unforeseen, a German-language version of my first book "Weeds Like Us" will be published in Hamburg in Spring 2011.)
Hi Ash, thanks for adding me!Hope you're having a great weekend. We're soaked in rain here in the Midwest of US.Don't forget to join my GLBT yahoo group if you like. Link here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ketasglbtauthorandreaderhaunt/Best, Ketahttp://www.ketadiablo.com
Hi Enednoviel.. Just thought you'd like to know that, in addition to the paperback and hardcover versions, my book "Weeds Like Us" is now available on KINDLE at www.amazon.com. It's also available on SONY READER. Other e-versions are coming soon! Best wishes, Gunter
Gunter
You'd BETTER be there! *insert growly face here*
When I scrape up enough money for postage on the damn heavy thing, I'll send you a signed copy. Or hell, if you really want it, I'll bring a copy to SHareCon if you're going. How 'bout that? Then you won't have any excuses. :D
I suspect someone is a Starsky-Hutch fan-fiction fan?
You'd better read The Growing soon, woman, or I'm going to have to HURT you...HARD. :D *smooches*
"The Children's Book" is my new favourite book :) It's a bit dense with lots of information, very rich in detail - loved it. The theme of women's conditions reminded me of Ibsen's "Nora".
Addictive, yes! Once I started up, I got the crazy idea to add all fiction books I could remember I've read. I've always used the library extensively as books are so expensive here, so off I went to the library with a little notepad *G* Luckily I re-read *a lot* - I think I've read almost half the books at least twice. You have some interesting books on your shelf. Given what you have, I think you might be inrersted in "The Children's Book" by Antonia Byatt - if you like her writing style, that is.
