Can you believe that I am just getting around to reply to your email. I have, in fact, read most everything these two have written on the subject. Hawkins is particularly interesting, wherein the other seems to have somewhat of an angy bent. I don't know how benecial such readings are for me, considering where I am spiritually, but they haven
t influenced me, one way of the other. I maintain my own course in life. I still, however, have a curiousity concerning the faith and convictions of others, if just to understand what motivates them. Hope to see you around Starbucks soon!

Haven't seen you at Starbuck's of late, Pastor. I'll probably check in on Monday, so will look for you. I'm ordering The Making of an Atheist from Amazon this weekend. Harris and Dawkins haven't quite dissuaded me. I direct my own course, but was curious to read what arguments they make concerning organized religion and the history of the chuch. I'd like to read more about the Islamic faith. I have no interest in becoming a Muslim; in fact, it is fear that motivates my interest, and how unconvinced how this particular faith can intergrate homogeniously into our Judeo-Christian society, and at what consequences. I see what is happening in Spain and France, even north to us, in Canada. Kind of scary. Look for me to show up at your church one Sunday. You just never know. The Lord works mysteriously, doesn't He?

Great start in building your shelf, Pastor! I'm going to pull a couple of these from your bookshelf and start reading a couple of them. Haven't been to the Starbuck's much of late, but will run into you there soon, I'm sure. Happy reading!
