Just read Brooklyn for my book group. I think you would like it!!! Young girl from Ireland,post WW11.
Now we have to read nonfiction for June,The Ninth about the Supreme court.
I know it has been over 30 years since I read it. I think I still have my copy at the beach. It has been so long, I might pull it out and read it again this summer. I wonder how it will seem after so long. I don't even remember who it was I spoke to that put it on their list of top five favorite books.
I keep finding more and more people who loved Five Smooth Stones. It is one of my old favorites. Nice to see it on your list.
I did like it. Read's quick.Not worth buying so keep waiting for the library.
