Hi Bonnie. Hope you guys were able to get the truck fixed! THANKS for lending me the Mary Higgins Clark book. I read 1/3 of it on the flight from Denver to NJ. It was hard to put down and I had it finished by the time I went back to work on Monday! I really need to add it to my page. Thanks for reminding me about this website!! We had a wonderful time with you guys in August. Can't wait to do it again! Joan
Congratulations on your retirement. I missed our book talks when I saw Spike in July. Be sure to keep me updated on good reads. I am starting my 42nd year of teaching. Yes, retirement is on the horizon. Enjoy your retirement and please keep in touch. You always make my day special.
Wow, you have been busy. But sounds like you have been having a lot of fun too. We sure miss you here, but Paula has been a great addition to our department. We haven't scared her off yet. Partly because Brendan has been on vacation during Paula's 1st week. Hopefully things slow down for you so you can spend some time at the cabin. We all send our love to you & Dan. Keep in touch. - Sarah
Yes, I loved the books. I have been behind as I have been so busy with my new job. The books I have read lately are Paranormalcy and Supernaturally...I loved them and the kids at Glasgow are really enjoying them. Also, I have been getting the teachers into Tory Hayden's books. Very good. I will look into the Elizabeth Musser books. Thanks so much for your suggestions. Have a great Thanksgiving. I am staying home. We just returned from Phoenix where we met our new granddaughter. It was a fast and busy trip as she developed meningitis and ended up in the hospital; so we took care of the grandson. All is well and the family is doing great. Hoping to go to Kalispell for Christmas to see our other grandsons. Take care and keep the recommendations coming.
I'm glad you're liking it. I'm reading Words Unspoken by Elizabeth Musser right now and it's quite good. Lots of characters and not sure how they will all connect, but they are starting to. I'm about halfway through it. Have a good trip. See you on the 14th.
Hi, Bonnie...I am trying to figure out the system...I so enjoy seeing h
What you have read...I love my job....thanks for asking...how do I add Sarah and Leesa as friends?....keep on reading...this helps me select books for the kids...have a great rest of the weekend and tell "Spike" hello
Bonnie, I see you read the Heart Mender (Andy Andrews) and loved it. Do you own it? i could get it on my nook also. I like looking at the books on the shelf. Makes it seem organized and like I really own them on a pretty bookshelf that doesn't take up any space!! Great idea!
Just joined today. I read a lot of Mom's books (Christian fiction), and I'm looking forward to seeing what others are reading. I like a variety of books, for entertainment, character building, and educational reasons. Thanks for the invite and I look forward to seeing what others are reading!
