I can relate to your busy-ness!!! I'm trying to get everything here in "perfect" condition........more for Peter than the newlyweds. They will be so overwhelmed with everything to do with their honeymoon visit that the little niggles (mostly mine) will not be an issue.
For many years we lived with a room air conditioner---it worked beautifully. Now we have huge units for separate areas of the house and it is a nightmare-keep it simple!!!
HAPPY THIRTIETH!!!!! What a milestone today! We are coming up on 25----but our second effort. Sure wish I could have met this guy when I was so very young and naive!!! Daughter is 40---what does that tell you!
Keep getting those books---as an English teacher you know how important the literal word is----BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS!!!! I have been an avid reader from the age of 8------how many books are in my history---NOT ENOUGH!!!!! I can't get enough of authors efforts.
Nice to chat----school beginning has to be a bummer---the upside??? RETIREMENT!!!!!!!!!! LOL And then you will be busier than ever!!!
I'm still a bit intimidated with the "REKNOWNED CHEF" thing---oh well!

I haven't been able to navigate my way around this site very well---I have wanted to send you a thank you for your invite here (even though I did it over there). You have some interesting choices for planning to read.....your summer is coming to a quick end---how have you done?
Don't you just love Nigella---I have several of her books but I find her tv programs are much more interesting than her recipes....for some reason they seem so uninspiring but I love reading her tales and instructions. She has assisted me with many of my South African concoctions---British heritage, ya know.
