I spent my entire childhood with my nose in a book, but for the last few years, I've lost touch with the world of novels, and I want to immerse myself in the wonders that they are once again. I am hoping that Shelfari will help me to find new books, and record books that I hold a special place in my heart....as well as those that don't, mostly to warn others ;)
I also wanted to say here that almost all of the books on my shelf are ones that I've have read recently, or will be - there are only a few, which I couldn't resist adding, that I read years ago.
General Thoughts behind My Rating System:
5 stars: It's an extra special novel that has stayed and will stay with me for the rest of my life.
4 stars: I thoroughly enjoyed the novel, and will recommend it to friends and family.
3 stars: I liked it, but it didn't leave me breathless.
2 stars: Disappointment.
1 star: Don't bother reading it.
