Nancy, I saw on a post that you are a children's tween's librarian. I have a 9 year old daughter who is determined to read Meg Cabot's Princess series. Although, after being asked several questions to explain words, I'm wondering about the maturity level for these books for a 9 year old. Can you recommend any other series that would be good for her? She's not interested in Lemony Snickett, Little House on the Prairie, etc and I would rather she not read Harry Potter.
