When I was 4 years old, I would watch my mother read the newspaper. As I asked her what the letters were, she taught them to me. After the first day of kindergarten, I told my mother that I was never going to go back to school. When she smilingly inquired why, I replied; "All we did was play. They wouldn't teach me how to read !"
