Hi Jana, You are the first of the book club members to join Shelfari! Yeah, now I have a friend I can talk books with. I got the first book in the Wheel of Time series and will start it after I have read the three other books that have been waiting for me to read them. It looks like a good one. Do you own the other books in the series or did you get them from the library?

Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES.
The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. May BOTM are;
1. Choke by Palahniuk, Chuck, 2. Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak 3. Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake 4. Works of Poe
We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy.
