In the sequel to Rot and Ruin, Tom take Benny, Nix, Lilah and Chong to begin their journey east but they run into trouble just a few miles from town. Who could stir up thousands of zombies? Why are some dead people not reanimating? When the normal world is shattered, how to people react? This is also a story of losing and having faith in people.

Harry is back and involved in Sidhe plots which is never going to end well. Butcher's books are still awesome.

Set several years after "The Passage", Peter, Amy, Alicia, Michael and the others set off after The Twelve - the twelve original virals.

Fifteen year old Benny Imura learns the reality of the world when he ventures into the great Rot and Ruin (the world outside their small town after a zombie apocalypse) with his big brother, the "closure specialist" Tom Imura. Very thought provoking for a young adult book.

Really not expecting the set out of the book, but interesting in the way the stories of the life of Billy Pilgrim jump around. The refrain "So it goes" seemed very passive for an anti-war book.

Interesting and funny stories from the life of Tina Fey. Particularly enjoyed her stories about life at SNL and 30 Rock and the concept of female comedians.

Eighteen years, fourteen books... the Last Battle against the Dark One is finally here. Couldn't sum up everything (why did Graendal kill Asmodean?) but does a good job of concluding everything. Plus this is Mat's book to carry and he is awesome.

John Taylor has one more case before getting married... and someone wants to bring the sunshine into the Nightside...

  • The Passage

Story of the outbreak of a vampiric-like virus and inhabitants of the near future that develops after the outbreak. Kind of creepy, kind of a slow build up, but looking forward to the next one.

Colourful, interesting, with a thought-provoking end.
