I love historical fiction. I'm drawn to WWII, Holocaust, Civil Rights and books about people who suffered and endured very difficult situations. All of our troubles seem so insignificant compared to what other people have experienced throughout their lives. Love all forms of books, especially Kindle and Playaways.

    Hello Kathy,

The oldest book is new if you haven’t read it.

    You have an interesting shelf.
I’d appreciated it if you’d check out my author page and give my site a boost. Thanks.
Oh and KNIGHTS OF THE DRAGON has just been released.

Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month it is a little discouraging. I didn’t think there were that many writers.
And if you like vampires you might want to check out Dracula: Hearts of Stone (Dracula is a good guy).

Reading "Secret Daughter" and seeing life from the other side. My next is Proof OF Heaven. Highly recommended by a friend and I have watched some of the authors interviews on TV. Lilly's Crossing sounds like something I would like to read. You rated it a 4 Star so will give it a try after Proof of Heaven.

Moonlight on the Linoleum was really good. Have been on a buying spree. Now reading "When my Mind Wanders It Brings Back Souvenirs" Very Very light and a good change from the heavier stuff. Also have Lot of Candles, Plenty of Cake by Anna Quindlen. I have read other books she has written and enjoyed them. Also waiting in the wings is "HEres to Not Catching Our Hair On Fire, and Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal. Also Escape from Camp 14: One Man's Remarkable Odyssey ( this one is about the NOrth Korean gulags.
