Jenny, you probably already know about the little book, Adddress Unknown by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor that was published in 1938. It is a series of fictional letters between two friends, one in California and one in Germany during the rise of Hitler. Powerful!

Hi Jenny, I just posted Earlene Fowler's Spider Web. Everytime I read one of her books, I think of the grand time I had with you in California. . . one of my very favorite trips. You were so kind to me and showed me so many lovely people and places. After all these years, I still miss you.
