I am a voracious reader, I just absolutely love everything about books. That is the only thing that has been consistent in my life. I was in school majoring in neuroscience when I had to take medical leave to have my first brain surgery in early 2008, but I never really recovered or got better. For 2 years I struggled to piece my life back together, finally at the beginning of this year I went to a specialist and in May had to have my second round of brain surgery followed by a third in August. Now I feel like i am actually getting better. Books have been my saving grace, a way that I could keep my mind awake and active and experiencing life. I think this is such a great site because it allows people to share their love of books, and direct others to great reads.
