I am a single mother of 2 who enjoys reading a good book pretty much as often as I can. hi
you are mostly interested in black and african related books. This is my humble suggestion that one may also read about other cultures and societies as this world is becoming a global village very rapidly.

Dear Nyamburah: I hope someday you will get to read my novel ALBERTVILLE. I just finished writing it. It features a young black woman named Jesse Westcott who grows up in Alabama in the 1940s and 50s but ends up as part of the State Department in the Congo in 1960, as the country is about to descend into mutiny, secession and civil war. I have hopes for it because I just got my first novel published in April. That one is called HUNTING THE KING. Check out the YouTube book trailer for it if you have the chance. Take care and have a nice summer. Peter

I know what you mean about having a lot of books. Sometimes it's fun to just look at books I haven't browsed in a while. Though I do donate books to the local library also.
