Mossflower has suggested that I choose another co-admin for 1001 books. Mossflower has been busy lately with caring for her mum. I don't really want to do this unless you also are okay with it. Let me know what your thoughts are. So far I am not having problems keeping up with the group but am curious as to your opinion.

Hello! I have been a member of this group for awhile but never participated.

Can I just jump right in with the next book? Could you hit me back with some details? Thanks so much!

    Hi,
I love the idea of this group. I have the book and try to read one from the "early" years and I'm also trying to go backwards from the "latest". It's a great way to add variety to my reading list.
I just joined shelfari and this is my first group. what is it all about

Hi, If you feel that the Hand maid's Tale thread has ended you can delete my answers to the questions set as Kristel already has. I was abit disappointed that only Kristel and I engaged in these discussions, as they were good discussions

    Hi,
Any chance you have the 1001 books on an excel spreadsheet? I'm taking part in the next tag challenge. There are points awarded if a book from your 1001 book list is read. Searching for a book would be easier in spreadsheet form.

BTW- thanks for taking the time to put this list & group together

I see you are admin for 1001 Books. I've tried cleaning up the shelf some- removing books that are duplicates, etc. but it seems that more often than not, I am unable to remove the book. I mark "none" under group shelves after clicking the link to remove and yet it doesn't remove the book. Perhaps this is a Shelfari glitch? Just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Dear nvangel: If you like suspense novels, you may be interested in HUNTING THE KING, which, coincidentally, is mine. HUNTING is controversial, entertaining, and provocative. It's coming out next week, so I wanted to let you know a little something about it.
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon."

While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites. You won't be disappointed.

To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
