nutmeag (aka Meagan B)

I used to read a lot, but not so much these days (moving from the farm to the city will do that to a geeky girl). Still, it's a favorite past time of mine, and I manage to knock out a book every two weeks or so. I'm a big lover of sci-fi, fantasy, children's/YA lit, and yes, the occasional romance. I'm not into non-fiction or historicals too... more »

I always come to you with my computer/electronic questions. You were right about the Zen - I love it!!!

Thanks for the link...I read everything and I will hold off for now. I have a lot of pdf books friends have sent me and I'm in the same boat as Evy...I get eye strain from reading on the computer. I have printed them out at work and read them at home - but reading on loose leaf paper even if I put it in a 3 ring binder is bulky and not very comfortable. So......I guess I will just keep on fighting the battle of the ever expanding bookshelves. :D
btw we have the LCD flat screen in the den, a plasma in the kitchen and a plasma in the masterbedroom....the other bedrooms and exercise room just have regular TV's - The LCD is the best by far.

I have tons of music on mine too! You know I'm a music freak. I'm a member of audibles.com ....So far I've just used my free download. My library has audiobooks but we don't have the capacity to download from their site...I can check with another county to see if they have it.

That's great it's going to work out for you! There's nothing better than finding a good recipe to share with family & friends ;)
I make my own pie crust (I've got the easiest press in pan version that's so yummy) with my pumpkin pies... yeah... the crumb/graham version would be too sweet for me too.

I am so loving my mp3player you recommended. I'm listening to a free download I got with it from audibles.com...You guessed it...I chose one of the Argeneau books, although I'd already read it...I just love Lucian and Leigh's story.

    Have a great day!!!

The Fever Series is more of urban fantasy too...its about a girl from the South (sounding familiar) and she goes to Ireland to find out who killed her sister. She meets up with Fae and other super natural events....its really good, but a cliff hanger.
You gotta read Argeneau Series...I love that series!!

Take your time on getting this series....the first book totally sucked me in, the second one was pretty good...the third is just pornfest fantasia style.

Have you read the Fever Series by KMM? I bought that series at the thrift store (in Hardback!)

Ok thanks I added the first two book in the Guide Series and I already had the first on in her Psy-Changeling book on my tbr. I put your name as a tag next to Angel's Blood so I will remember who told me to read it. Memory fades... one of the many joys of not being immortal. Did you tell me you read Merry Gentry? Dear Lord this is a lot.

Hmmm...I may read the first one then. I answered your post about the Dark Series...the later books are the better ones. Have you read The Argeneau Series by Lynsay Sands? That is probably my all time favorite. I love Feral Warriors and Midnight Breed...but I just love this family.

My Nanny (Grandmother) used to crochet all the time...I still remember the "chain" she taught me as a child. She is 89 now...her hands will not allow her to do it.
