I also enjoy finding new authors and attending the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books each year with another friend who is an avid reader. Currently I have a big stack I am working on but enjoy adding to the pile. My favorite authors/series are Jan Burke-Irene Kelly Series, James... more »

I knew you would cry!! I'm not surprised your mom cried too. Real life is the most powerful I think!! when I was reading the last books in the Southern Vampire series I pounded through them. Now I've slowed down again. I'm reading that "Reigning Cats and Dogs" series by Cynthia Baxter and I'm not totally loving it, but I'm going to finish the second book so I can give them both to you. I hope to have it done by next Friday so I can give them to you at the L.A. County Fair. You're still planning on seeing War aren't you?

I see you finished Marley & Me. How did you like it? Did you cry? I loved that book!! It looks like you're reading Robert Crais now? I'm reading All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris. You might want to check out this series, even though it has vampires in it!

Hi. Susan Wittig ALbert is my friend at Good Reads. I've asked her about is there any more China Bayles books after Nightshade. She said yes-Wormwood comes out in 4/09 and she signed a contract for three books in the series. Great news!

You're welcome. I have the last two to read-I accidentally reread Indigo Dying (read it in 8/05) and will read Spanish Dagger next month. It's the latest two than the last two out I think you meant.

I was at the library yesterday. They were selling some older paperbacoks. I picked up 5 Agatha Christies, 25 cents each!

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn
