    • استادى از شاگردانش پرسيد: چرا ما وقتى عصبانى هستيم داد مي‌زنيم؟ چرا مردم هنگامى که خشمگين هستند صدايشان را بلند مي‌کنند و سر هم داد مي‌کشند؟
    شاگردان فکرى کردند و يکى از آن‌ها گفت: چون در آن لحظه، آرامش و خونسرديمان را از دست مي‌دهيم
    استاد پرسيد: اين که آرامشمان را از دست مي‌دهيم درست است امّا چرا با وجودى که طرف مقابل کنارمان قرار دارد داد مي‌زنيم؟ آيا نمي‌توان با صداى ملايم صحبت کرد؟ چرا هنگامى که خشمگين هستيم داد مي‌زنيم؟
    شاگردان هر کدام جوابهايي دادند اما پاسخهاي هيچکدام استاد را راضي نکرد
    سرانجام او چنين توضيح داد : هنگامي که دو نفر از دست يکديگر عصباني هستند قلبهايشان از يکديگر فاصله مي گيرد آنها براي اين که فاصله را جبران کنند مجبورند که داد بزنند. هر چه ميزان عصبانيت و خشم بيشتر باشد اين فاصله بيشتر است و آنها بايد صدايشان را بلندتر کنند
    سپس استاد پرسيد : هنگامي که دو نفر عاشق همديگر باشند چه اتفاقي مي افتد؟ آنها سر هم داد نمي زنند بلکه خيلي آرام با هم صحبت مي کنند چرا؟ چون قلبهايشان خيلي به هم نزديک است . فاصله قلبهايشان بسيار کم است
    استاد ادامه داد : هنگامي که عاشقشان به يکديگر بيشتر شد چه اتفاقي مي افتد؟ آنها حتي حرف معمولي هم با هم نمي زنند و فقط در گوش هم نجوا مي کنند و عشقشان باز هم به يکديگر بيشتر مي شود
    سرانجام حتي از نجوا کردن هم بي نياز مي شوند و فقط به يکديگر نگاه مي کنند. اين هنگامي است که ديگر هيچ فاصله اي بين قلبهاي آنها باقي نمانده باشد
    به اميد اينکه همه عاشق باشند تا هيچ فاصله اي بين قلبها نباشه
