My favourite book from my childhood, and I read at least 7 books a week for years.

I found this edition at the glorious Book of Wonders in Manhattan.

The movie by Dave Eggers and Spike Jonze captures the essence, the way I see it too.

I have always loved fantasy and science-fiction, and in a delightful way this story felles like a blend of the two genres. The Name of the Wind is the most gorgeous story I have stumbled upon in years, it consumed me all the while that I read it and it lingered within me for months. Here on Shelfari I noticed the tag ´triologi`connected to this book and now I feel thrilled - another journey with my new superhero Kvothe? Wonderful =)

A new world, lovely and interesting people, magic, an amazing and intriguing hero - what more can a girl want? This stor feels like a travel in time, backwards and forward simultaniously. Excillerating!
