Yes they do lack "adventurism" in the sense that they don't keep you on the edge of your seat, turning pages waiting to see what happens next, however, that doesn't mean that they aren't interesting or that the characters themselves don't have adventures. They just aren't the lively type we are used to. It's interesting to see how the main characters' life play out.
Hi Nile! Thanks for following me back. Forgive me b/c as you can see, timing isn't one of my strong points lol. I finished "Water for Elephants" and "Life of Pi" and I thoroughly enjoyed both of them, however, I feel as though I'm missing something with both of the books.
