hi, What does "Grote mensen, daar kan je beter soep van koken" mean in English? Is this book available in translation? Which language is this?

May be I should do a small course in CL first. Reading Twilight and Harry Potter was a fantastic experience, but I wonder if "working" on them would be as good! so somehow I am not that "serious" as yet. but sometimes, like today I have such a surge to go for it, that I just think of applying at the spur pf the moment.
yeah :( I found on the web too. But the good thing is, now I have more time for preparation. Okay I will. Well, to be honest, I didnt care much about children's Literature some years back. But now when I have read some of the contemporary works for children and the scholarly works about them and the way childhood classics are being revived by critics, I feel interested in pursuing further studies in this area. But I am still in the process of finding out whether I will really be able to dedicate the required effort!
And thanks a lot for answering the query.
hi, sorry for an off topic issue here, I dont know who to ask to actually. I was wondering if there's still time to apply for Mphil in Education children's Literature route? They say no applications will be enteretained by March 19, but at times things change when there are seats available. Can you please guide me to whom I should ask?
thanks, But they say I cant join it unless I have an invitation :(
Hi, I just saw you are reading MockingBird. Hope you are enjoying it. Its my favourite book.
Thank you Maria! I do look forward to hearing your views on 'A Monster Calls' and 'Fly by Night' :-) xx
now I'm slightly worried about the two sessions on ethics we're having next month...
Dear Maria, if you go to a bookshop this weekend, have a look at the new packaging of the Twilight series, it's very interesting...

One of the suggested tags for your 'Power Voice and Subjectivity' is 'I have written it' ... I wish! :D
Thank you, I'd be happy to. I'll also give you back Forbidden & The Hunger Games. I didn't find The Hunger Games to be so bad, actually - interesting, at least - I think, as you said, it could be great to discuss it in a PhD supervision.
Oh that's kind of you. It sounds very interesting! I'd never heard of it, I stole it from your shelf :)
