I love to read (yes that's an understatement).
My first love was Nancy Drew, that is until I discovered that Hardy Boys had more adventure an action. From there my tastes ran more to horror type books. So I began devouring Christopher Pike and R.L. Stine. Then one Christmas my Mom gave me a Stephen King (Dark Half) I was hooked. I read nothing but his books all year long (thank goodness he had so many!) I eventually branched off into westerns, medical thrillers and then on to espionage type books.
Despite my love of reading, however, I sucked at Literature in school. But this did not stop me from reading some of the classics and Jane Austen is one of my faves.
Right now I am stuck in paranormal romances. I really love this genre. It satisfies my need for happily ever after endings and science fiction!
I don't know if I shall explore any other types of books in the future, but one thing is for sure as long as there are books out there in the vast beyond (lol) I will never stop reading! « less
