I LOVE reading. I read just because I enjoy it. I have been reading since I was old enough to learn to read. My favorite genres are mystery, and fantasy mainly about vampires, but i do read others. If I did not read I would be bored all of the time. I have been around books all of my life because my mom is also an avid reader. You will mostly always see me with a book. If im reading and you are trying to talk to me good luck! I tend to tune people out when i read so i don't always hear them. I try to only read one novel at a time, but sometimes I do read more than one. I own alot of books. However I have only read about one third of them. I am addicted to buying books. If a book does not interest me by the time I am about 100 pages into it I will probably abandon it. I keep a notebook with a list of the books I have read. I have only been doing this for a few years but it is an easy organization technique. The books on my shelf: Read: These are only the books I have read since joining Shelfari with the exception of a few. Plan To Read: These are only books that I own or have checked out from the library at one point. Otherwise I would have a ton in this category.
