I'll hunt it down and forward it to you tomorrow. If you do buy something from her please remember to tell her my name and email so I get a free set as well. I will then forward you the email she sends ME with the books I get. If you like how it works and don't mind sharing, I can add your name to my group of about 8 people who buy from her and then we just all share books. Make sure you ask me before you buy because I may already have it to send you! Have you read any epubs or other formats in your Nook? You just load them into your "My documents" folder. They look a little different then the ones bought and stored in your B&N library, but so worth the savings. Heading to bed now, but will chat with you in the morning. I'll go check out your TBR shelf in case I have anything you want.
Well, I have all of hers. I have about 1200 books for my Nook which I will be happy to share with you since you arent offended. I buy my epubs from a girl who sends out a newsletter once a month. They are REALLY cheap and enable me to read a lot more. (Like 5.00 for an entire authors collection or 1.00 a book) You can buy an Authors entire collection if they have their books available as ebooks. I have forwarded her newsletter to many of my friends who have ereaders and whenever a new person buys a set from her who I referred, I get a free set. The beauty of it is that alot of my friends and I then share the sets with each other. This is why people get mad who believe it is against the law. (Like music sharing is). I just feel like I always shared/borrowed/ bought used books when I bought regular paper ones. Let me know if you are interested and I ill forward you her newsletter if you give me your email. Be careful talking about it if you join any Nook Groups on here. Like I said, some people get mad. There is a Nook group I joined (bibliophiles) that is a great group. They read a LOT and are nice to chat with. Check them out.
It stuck with me too, and though it started slow, I got sucked in LOL
The Philadelphia Free Library is joinable online to anyone for 15 dollars. They have about 4000 ebooks. I'm pretty happy with that.
At the risk of offending(and I understand if you are), I get a lot of epubs and read them as documents on my Nook. Some people dont agree with this but I but them from other places than B&N. It saves me a lot of money that I dont have. Thats how I read the passage. Have you ever read any Philippa Gregory?
We read Pillars of the Earth this past summer for my book club and I really liked it a lot and have been thinking about reading World Without End, so I added that to my wish list. Also, one I've been meaning to read is Water for Elephants and The Mistress of the Art of Death, as well as The True Story of Hansel and Gretel...I see they are all your favorites, so I think I'm going to pick them up over the next couple of months and give them a read. I also thought My Enemy's Cradle looked interesting, so I added that to my wish list as well...you've got some fantastic books on your shelf and I'm really excited to chomp into them.
Well...way late...gotta get to bed...talk to you soon!
Yep...it's me...Tracy...you got the right girl! LOL
Nice to see you here and don't be intimidated by the book shelf...I'm just a huge book hog and reader....LOL
Anyway, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year...I'm gonna go take a look at your shelf now!
