    Hi Neeke,
    The first book of his that I read was Ice Station, and that sucked me in. There's a bit of archaeological stuff in his books, but the more recent ones seem to get quite rediculously unrealistic. Where abouts are you from?

    Ice Station is my favourite because I like the its plot better than the other MR novels.
