I'm a forty something female who enjoys many things in life. Reading is up there. I love to watch NASCAR, Tony Stewart is my fave. I even own the Tony Stewart Special Edition Monte Carlo. Tony even sat in the car and signed the dashboard. I love spending time at our campsite at Woodhaven Lakes, Sublette, IL. I am a quilter and designer of... more »

I see you finished Treachery in Death and gave it the same five stars I did!

Would love your feedback in the book discussion for Treachery. Just access it from the book discussion topic on the first page of the site.

Haven't read any Susan Wiggs Yet. Decided to put fantasy genre away for awhile. Going back 2 D. Macomber. Unfortunately we got lots of snow a few days ago & our roads & sidewalks are sheets of ice. My two books on hold @ the library - Hannah's List & One Simple Act: Discovering the Power of Generosity are held captive there till Weather gets better. So Debbie's going to have to wait. So i'm reading a freezer meal cookbook & a book on how color affects all part of our lives.

Will be starting the Cedar Cove series after. Already made sure library had all 10 books. How are you enjoying them ? I hear they're good. Never listened to books before. Do you listen with headphones (what about headaches?) or do you listen as if listening to music out loud. I think if I was doing something else @ same time I may lose concentration & miss part of the book.

Anyway happy sewing, reading & cooking ................. oh yeah & the dishes. HeHe.

Hi Nancy, how are the squares going. You probably have too many scraps to have used them all yet. So what are you reading and how do you like it.

    Hope everything is going well.

    Hey !
I wanna check out your your pictures & squares on facebook. I'll send you a friend request.

I've been reading & reading. I'm finishing up some YA series i've been reading since 2010. Can't wait till its's warmer & I can garden again. Check out my garden & see what's what.

I'm thinking of leaving the fantasy genre for awhile & start reading Debbie Macomber again. Need a change of scenery, you could say.

    TTUL Susan :)

    hello, you're back !

Thanks for accepting my friend request. I never get tired of seeing your amazingly green car. So is Susan Wiggs another author like Debbie Macomber. I mean the same style of writing. romance, about women, easy to read, based on friensships and every day life situations they find themselves in. I find Debbies stories heartwarming.

Unfortunately, I have never been to a NASCAR race. I would love to go but unforutnately, I work part-time and collect unemployment. I live from paycheck to paycheck. I would love to see a race someday. I love you nickname. It is cute. I see that you have read a lot of the authors I like.

I am currently reading several books at once. This is normal for me. I am reading Blood Ties, The Endless Forest and The Swan Thieves plus some others. I usually have five or more going at the same time. I love to work on oriental(Geishas and Samurais), cottages scenes, angels, dragons, teddy bears, unicorns and ballerinas.

    Great talking to you.

    Hi Nancy!
Thanks for the friendship. I see you recently added The Next Best Thing by Kristin Higgins to your shelf. I read it recently and adored it. I hope you do, too!

I also see that the In Death books by J.D. Robb make up a large portion of our books in common. I'm only on Book 6 right now, but have started an In Death reading challenge on my blog to make myself (and others) catch up by reading at least one book per month. Are you all caught up?

    Happy reading! :)

Thanks, Needle Nut Nancy for joining my friends and group. It's always wonderful meeting another GA McKevett fan. I really love Savannah Reid, I tell Sonja when a new one is coming out that that's good, because I'm due for another Savannah fix! She loves it and laughs.
I just finshed Wicked Craving and of course was not disappointed. But I really wonder how long it'll be before Sanvannah and Dirk finally kiss. I really thought they were getting close. Oh well, we'll see.
