I'm a married mother of two, a published author, a dog lover . . . and a lifelong book addict. Now that I've discovered a willing enabler in Shelfari -- yay! -- I would love nothing more than to meet new friends and old who share my obsession with books.

What do I read? I read my share of the classics in college -- degrees in English... more »

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm going to put it on my request list at the library; however I just e-mailed my book club and sadly told them I would just be lurking for a while. I'm stretched so thin I don't even have time for my book club. Boo! However, I just requested Undead and Unwed, so I'm going to try to keep reading on my own. The irony of it all -- I'm in library school and don't do as much reading as I'd like! :)

    Hi Natale!

Thanks for the friendship request. I see we like a lot of the same type of books so I look forward to doing a little "snooping" on your bookshelf!

And as it happens, yes I am currently about 100 pages into Agnes and the Hitman and so far its a wonderful book. I love Crusie's sharp tongue combined with Mayer's sharp wit. I loved their last collaboration. They're a great team and I hope they write more together. Have you read Agnes and the Hitman yet?

    Natale,
Thanks for the note. I have read a few Katie MacAlister books. I liked the vampire books that I have read:
    A Girls Guide To Vampires
    Sex and the Single Vampire
I have also read one of her Aisling Grey books. I am really behind in my readiing though and have the rest of the McAlister books on my TBR list.

Hi! I agree on the Aisling Grey novels!! Have you ever read any of her work as Katie Maxwell? Those books are pretty funny as well. Thanks a ton for the friend request and I will be keeping an eye out for "Pandora's Box". Sounds like something right up my alley!

Hey Girl! Thanks for sucking me in. Now I'm hooked. I'm supposed to be working on a project for Special Ed, but nooooo, I'm sitting here trying to remember all the books I read this summer so I can make my own Shelfari page. Thanks ALOT! ;)

Oh yes, I've read These Old Shades. It took me a long time to find it (this was before the re-issues) and was probably one of the last Heyer books I read. The first one I ever read was Frederica - I think! I was about 16 when I started reading her, so a lot of my memories are lost in the mists of time, so to speak. BTW - I'm looking forward to reading you! Can't wait to find your books!
