Nataki Suggs is a poet, author, wife and mother of two. Born and raised in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, Suggs began writing at a young age. By the age of eleven, she had already won first place in a poetry writing contest. When the prime of adolescence hit Suggs’ life, some experiences halted her knack for writing.
