I'm an obsessive reader and review books for Wild on Books. I love to play pool, cook, go to wine-tastings, hang out with good friends, listen to music - especially live bands, go to movies, and attend comedy shows.

I love to laugh and play, and the two have seen me through the hardest times in my life. I often say my life on paper...more »

Dear Jennifer: Sometimes I feel like my life is a musical comedy, too. In regards to literary agents, I would like to be Sweeney Todd. Despite the fact that I still haven't got one, I did manage to get a book published. It came out in April, and it's doing well enough that it is now beoing marketed in Europe (By a Norwegian agent! Song of Norway?) The title is HUNTING THE KING, and it would be great if you'd be willing to do a review of it. The story revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you get the chance, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter
