Hi Nas! How r u doing? I hope all is well. Its been a while. I will be in Yorktown, VA next month. The pregnancy is going good. I still don't know what I'm having yet. But I will find out next month when I'm back home. I'm in Gulfport,Ms by my mom putting in time with my family. Because I can't travel much until I have the baby. I think at times she can have an irascible mean streak . Okay, I admit it, I am a reality tv junkie. Last season on the CHARM SCHOOL reunion one of the lil sleazy girls became confrontational w/ Monique. OMG! I thought she was gonna knock the hood rat outta that chile.What was so cool was, when Mo'nique was interviewed she was on the set in full costume. She sported a dew rag, housecoat and fluffy slippers the whole bit.But I am guilty of this as well with my characters, the media is constantly depicting black women as foot stomping, hard and angry. We are often times seen as overweight, child abusers. I am sooo glad that Michelle Obama has stepped into the spotlight. Because let's face it, often times white America only believes what they see on MTV when it comes to ethnicity.
