Will have to take a look. You make me work. Your blog sent me to my shelves to see what I kept, where I noticed something else important about covers. Want to make the right illustration in Illustrator for emphasis and do a new blog about the problem. Thanks for the information.

Summer's gone, fall has flown, and now we enter winter. Your new blog got me looking at my shelves. I had to drop it in favorites and will give it a full reading once my exam is over. We've spent our time in school "trying" to learn how to put a web site together. In late January we will be learning to work with Dreamweaver, which should be much easier than XHTML & HTML.
I like what I've seen on your blog.

Check out the group Cozy Mysteries. Notice of a new blog http://readingintheshade.blogspot.com. Neat style, she does reviews and has a list of new publications with their bookcovers. Just started.

Hope work on the new Bad Hair Day story is IP. Stopped by your blog looking for the "bookclub" one you posted on SINC (5-14). My byline comes from Alice in Wonderland, "The hurrieder I go, the behinder I get." Found a good description of some bookclubs in Laura Lippman's WHAT THE DEAD KNOW p. 22-23.

Thank you for asking me to be your friend. We will be off line for a while as we attend The International Mystery Theater Festival and my husband's hs reunion. To make things interest, the hotel a block from River Park Center called Friday morning to announce they were closing immediately. Oh, Oh, about 1500 people out on the street four days prior to opening night. We found new reservations four miles away, but so many attendees will be flying into a town of about 60,000. Not "cozy."
Now I've got some more cozies to try. The responses to my post about the name change have been interesting. Readers, those wonderful people we strive for don't care for the idea.

"Are you working on the next book in your series?"

I've actually sold a new series to Tor books. The first one, NEW BLOOD, will come out next March. I'm working on the second book in this series. No vampires, it's an alternate Victorian, steampunk-ish, blood magic with a twist series. (I'll try to get a blurb up for it on my website (and here) soon.)
