Excellent look into our ugly past. This is a must read on seeing how to deal with trials in a positive way.

This is a fascinating book. This book is "about Starbucks", but its MOSTLY about our culture and the history of the success of Starbucks and what it is about our society and our current social conditions that have come together at just the perfect time to allow so many of us to be captivated by this coffee shop chain. It's not just coffee they are selling - they are selling us something that answers a deep emotional need. Like I said, it's very interesting. It's non-fiction, which I don't usually read, and I can't put it down.

This is only my second Picoult book but will continue to read others. This one was pretty good and held my interest to the end.

I didn't like this one at all but luckily it was a short read so didn't spend too much time on it. Personally wouldn't recommend it. I am about to read Atonement and hopefully it will be a better read.

Loved this one but I'm partial to Anita Shreve and love everything she writes. I always love the twist at the end and this one is no different.

Loved this book even though it's very disturbing it's also very current and indicitive of our violent culture today. Makes you more aware of how much we need to talk to our kids and listen to thier hearts.

I thought this was a funny book but very interesting being written from the perspective of a boy with autism. You are drawn into his story and feel for all the trauma he has to deal with in life.

I was debationg whether to finish reading this one. I'm about half way through so guess I'll keep plugging through since it can't possibly get much worse. Not my best choice to read the week before Christmas-pretty dismal.

While this was a tragic story I thought it was well written and I couldn't put it down. I just started reading her new book " The Almost Moon" and it is almost too disturbing to read and may end up in the non-read stack. If anyone has read this one yet I'd love the hear their thoughts.
