I heard that they deliver but have never tried myself. I am also planning to go to Petrovka and see what I can buy there. Some contemporary authors in English can be bought there. I heard about our department. It is awful but we should have expected this. How long do you think we will last (I mean - department)?Hugs,Lena

Hi Nina,The only book on your list that I've read is A Thousand Splendid Suns. My sister lent it to me last fall. I liked it very much but did find it depressing at times. It was the second book I had read in a short time about women in Afghanistan. The other one, The Booksellers Daughter, was also good. That one was factual. Sally
