The rain was falling,
swarming around the once clear head of mine.
The night was thick,
moving and pulsing like it was alive.
He stepped from the shadows,
fangs bared,
a smile playing at his lips.
"Who are you?" I asked him.
"What do you want from me?"
I pressed. He only smiled.
"You can help me, can't you Trystyn?"
That was all I remember.
I woke up to the sound of talking.
They were in the corner,
away from me in my pathetic misdemeanor.
He was hunched over,
whispering, whispering, whispering.
My neck was so sore,
every time I moved,
every time I breathed.
I finally lifted my hand,
to feel the sorest part of all,
and found two puncture marks,
like someone bit me,
but only with two sharp canines.
Then is hit me,
these were vampires, not humans.
The man turned, and smiled.
I shivered at the look of him.
He was so perfect,
and yet so tainted.
I could feel the evil rolling off of him,
thick like blood. Like my blood.
