You are right about the math bit getting a bit too heavy. On the other hand Dawkins also raises some wonderfully stimulating questions. I particularly liked his 'The selfish gene'. Though not as good as 'The selfish gene', his other book, 'River out of Eden' was quite a worthwhile read. Speaking of computers, I am not a geek by any means but am a great Apple fan...what about you?

Hi Vishnu, Yes I enjoyed Godel, but I have enjoyed the concept...as discussed in 'Godel, Escher...' and byy raymond Smullyan to create logic puzzles, but the Roger Penrose level or depth is beyond my grasp of physics! :-) Nonetheless, I enjoy reading about what makes the universe tick.. though I find the Eastern mysticism meets quantum physics a bit over the top... Happy reading!

    hey man....

i find some very interesting books on your shelf...of course along with some proposterously lame ones...
anyway ....the books about the third riech are of great interest to me ....especially the albert speer one...i am an architecture student and speer strikes a chord in my head...i dont see a book from friedrich nietchze on your shelf...you really should pick one up some day...he doesnt have too much to do with the nazis but hes been dragged conveniently into the riech's vast pool...i dont know but youve got some very strange books(harry potter, paulo coehlo, agatha christie...?) alongside some of my favourites dostoyvesky, camus and gogol.... may be we should have a chat some time....
