im interested in books that will ruin me,, something that will fuck me up mentally...!
other than that im a lonesome guy who made so many good friends over the years but we get separated eventually... i like to analyze everything... and i love to do lots of stuff so in the end i can't focus long enough on one thing to become the master of it...

    hahaha i love Depp.

Ah the move. Well, I was moving to Lakewood, a city in my home state as I had told you. But, I went on vacation with my best friend who I was supposed to move with and figured out that I couldnt live with him. I love him, hes my best friend but I think were best friends because we dont see each other all the time lol you know?
So, at that same time my cousin persuaded me to move to Knoxville, Tennessee to live with her. So I did!
I just got a job today at Target and ill be working there to get money problems settled a bit then ill be looking at Recording Studios and Theaters to put my degree to use.

lol holy craapppp! I hate twitter so you have fun with that! Ill stick to this, Facebook, and Last.fm.

Let me know how Haruki Murakami is. How he/she compares to Palahniuk. Ive been looking for something just as messed up as Palahniuk and have only found Clive Barker but he doesnt quite get there.
And yes it is true they are making a movie out of Invisible Monsters! im so excited AND check this out:
Haunted is in pre-production right now! should be released this year maybe.
They are also gonna make Survivor and Rant into a movie :)
how about that! Hopefully they dont suck like Choke did. I thought it was a horrible movie compared to the book.

An Audio Engineer works in Recording Studios, at concerts, theaters, radio stations, tv stations, or even can do sound for movies and games. Anywhere you can record sound and/or mix it, thats what an audio engineer does.

    Sorry about the double posting.

The name - knicq is just a play on nick. At least that is all i remember of it. I assumed it years ago, and it has sort of stuck :)

    Means me basically... means nothing.

    Salam Mustafa,

Always great to get to know a reader - one likes to have good influence around one, and God knows, I need as many readers as I can get around me.

You are right - I have not been doing a lot of rating lately, and even lesser on Shelfari. There are just so many social networking sites vying for one's attention - some are bound to get neglected. I agree, Lord of the Flies was scarier because it depicted an inherent tendency in human beings to regress - even in the age of innocence; but then, perhaps, it offered some hope too in the lone hero's (and his fat friend's) struggles against that regression. Besides, Lord of the Flies unfolds over the course of a book, while the shock of Life of Pi is delivered in a few pages. Made it more potent for me.

Moby Dick. Ahem... is difficult to say the least. I am beginning to feel I am reading an Encyclopedia of Whales and Whaling. Its a book to be read on a long vacation - if at all - for me. I am ploughing through it.

What are you reading these days?

Hmmm well, I'm not enthralled yet, and I am 200 pages in. The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons was far better, earlier, if that makes sense? I keep hearing that it picks up so I'm hanging in there, but it's taking me a while to read.
