Yes, it does look as if we enjoy some of the same books. I feel you on the Stephen King thing. Some of his work can be out there. I enjoy most of his earlier work.
I noticed again that Omar Tyree's Pecking Order is a book, maybe part of a series. The Last Strret Novel is that a series or the name of a book. I certainly see what you mean with ego centric characters. That's the fun in reading...
