I had to force myself to read this book. It started so slow. I think it took me a week or more to really get started. It just seemed like it took forever for the story to really get going. I kept saying to myself when will I get to the winter of 1975. After that, the book got better. My overall opinion is that the book was good, not as good as people made it seem but a good story nonetheless.

If this book had one or two more chapters I would give it 5 stars. Loved the story, just a little too short. However, I love Miasha and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

White Lines was excellent! This book was well written and it definetely was a page turner. Funny, the book was almost 500 pages and I still wanted more. Hopefully, there would be a sequel because I would love to see what happens with the main characters Jada and Born. This book was soooooo good that I feel bad that I never read any of the authors other books. Well that is about to change. Tracy Brown is now on my list of favorite authors.

Loved, loved, loved this story. Loved it so much I've already read it twice. This book was raw and written with so much passion that you almost forget the hard times Mozelle went through. Definetly a book for your collection. If you don't have it, shame on you.

Wow! This was a good book. Very graphic but a good read. Porky was one nasty something. I really hope that his character was just a part of Goines imagination. I give this book four stars. I would give it five but I was looking for a little more with Smokey. I wanted to know more about how she came to be with Porky and I also wondered what happened to her in the end.
