“First let me say I am a huge fan of Sister Souljah. I loved both of the Midnight books. I also loved The Coldest Winter Ever but this book shouldn't have been labeled the "sequel" to the coldest winter ever. It started out really slow I mean who really wants to read a story being told by a ten year old (Porsche Santiaga) the younger sister of Winter. It eventually picked up and we learned that Porsche, Ivory or Siri whichever one she was depending on the day was not your average 10 year old. It was nice to hear about Midnight and it wasn't so nice to revisit Winter. Winter hasn't changed that's for sure she continues to think the sun rises and sets on her. Overall I would say it's a good book but really the ending was the best. It took so long for the story to pick up. I lost interest for a bit but I continued reading anyway. If you're expecting it to the sequel you are sadly mistaking!!”
