Thanks for writing back...i was excited to see on your shelf you're also intrested in knitting...wow...you must read "knitting" by ann bartlett, she's austrialian and this is a most awesome book. It touched me so much...the sisterhood of knitters and people's relationships...I strongly reccommend it...please go to the library and get it. i started knitting more than ever when i was taking care of my mother, who although visually impared could still knit. Mom passed away this fall and it's still very difficuilt. So many times i just want to talk with her. Sorry to be so sad....but i really think you would love this book. the books i really go crazy for are ones with really rich character development and of course a good storyline. All in all tho it's the characters i fall in love with. thanks for listening. need to get to bed early day tomorrow..i work at the pool. we run a swimming program for kids and i work saturdays after a full week at the library. It's nice to have you as a reading friend
thanks for accepting me as a friend,i read so much it's difficult to sometimes keep track. i think I became a librarian just so i could get all the new books first.lol i really read lots of different stuff .a few years ago i was into mystery and suspence big time, but after my father died it did'nt seem to hold my interest. I love the colony of unrequited dreams and the custodians of paradise, Joe Coomer is also one of my faves...[a man who really understands women]My very top books that I revisit are...a prayer for owen meany, ahabs's wife and pillars of the earth...I also liked Middlesex and the thirteenth tale..... i also have two cats or rather they have me, two dogs and an iguana named cuddles, two adult sons (living at home) and a semi retired husband, thank god for work. It's late and i will try to get you a more complete picture of my library when i'm not so weary...thanks again
p.s. love your cats
I see you like Warriors come join our group! I made this Clan thing. It's where you can be in a Clan and have your Warrior name. The group is called "Made Warriors"
hi, i was wondering if you thought i should read 'mrs. rochester'? jane eyre is my favorite book, so i'm excited to see that someone wrote a sequel.
thanks for the clarification. i just think it is more helpful when people who respond to a "should i read this book" include an explanation. i did really love the "the know-it-all" by a. j. jacobs. found it to be a quick and funny read and am surprised that not one person in your book group enjoyed it.
Why should I not read The Year of Living Biblically. Your lone "no" response would be a lot more helpful if it said more than just "no."
