Please do not add duplicates to series lists - combine the books first. Especially "Standard" and "Universal" Lists as these are used for the "what to read next" feature.
I don't see that you submitted combination requests for the entries you made to Roberts' Chesapeake Series but I will treat them that way in order to clean up this issue on that series.
If you have any questions, let me know or post on them on the Librarian & Editors Group - http://www.shelfari.com/groups/10713/about
Thanks so much for understanding this and thanks for cleanin' up all the Mavericks stuff.
Hi, This is "Dog Lover"
I'm noting you as "Book Crazy" because you have turned off your public/private notes options and we Librarians are allowed to override that.
I am distressed by your editing of the Montana Mavericks edition based-publisher list and creating this as a standard list - http://www.shelfari.com/series/Montana-Mavericks-Wed-in-Whitehorn (this messes up the "What to Read Next / Series" feature.)
The latter should not be a standard series as it contains books created by different authors. Because these titles usually are produced first by the same publisher, this should be an edition-based publisher list and I changed it accordingly. I believe that all these titles should also be in the original list but I am not going to take the time to do that. It is ok for the same books to appear on more than one list.
Let me know if you have questions.

OK - Thanks for clearing that up for me. I have a couple of the books but not all and was pondering starting the series.
Does "book 1" really belong on this list? It is unusual for a standard series to have books start with one author but be taken over by another. In addition, the remaining 3 books have related titles not found in Book 1.
Should book 1 be removed?
I've only read the book before this, Dreaming of the Wolf (#8 in the series), I really enjoyed that story and am enjoying this one. Sometimes there's a dud in a series, don't let that turn you off. I hate reading a series out of order but didn't know it was a series when I started Dreaming of the Wolf. I do plan on reading 1-7 in order. If you're not sold yet I'd recommend reading the first in the series and then deciding on whether or not you'd like to continue. Hope this helps!
