You must be a busy guy, Noah. Hope to hear from you at some point before May 2008. :)

    Hey Noah,

How's your year going so far? We just started with students this Monday, so it's been pretty tame. I already have students looking to drop my AP Lit class, saying it'll be too intense. What a compliment! I have three AP classes and two IB classes (all seniors) -- essays will be coming out of my ears.

Wow...how can you be surprised? YOur classroom site is a motherlode of awesome information! If it were accessible by phone, you'd be on speed-dial!

I love Mr. Tonk's classroom website, too. Lifesaver. My grading shorthand handout has, at the top, "most of this stolen directly from Noah Tonk, Cienega High School" (or something quite similar); I've added many of my own, as well.

Mr. Tonk, I have to say thanks for having such a great homepage. I've used it in the past for lesson plan ideas, and I think you were the one that sent me a very nice and encouraging email when I joined the listserv in a panic before I taught AP Lit for the first time this year. You gave me some great advice, and I still really appreciate it.
